1. Making a reservation
The Ol talet cottages website enables you to check our accommodation offerings, availability and to submit an online reservation request to the accommodation of your choice. On completion of the reservation process the Reservations Facility will transmit an online confirmation of your reservation. Alternatively, reservations can be made via telephone or on one of our social platforms.
NOTE: All Guests must provide a valid E-mail address for a Booking confirmation to be forwarded. Reservations are only valid when a 50% deposit has been made and a reservation confirmation receipt has been issued.
Official Rates are to be viewed on the Ol talet cottages website only. The prices
indicated on the Ol talet cottages website are non-negotiable. Taxes and service
charges are included in the rate policy.
3. Payment Methods
Reservation may be made via Mobile money through the pay bill appearing on the website. A confirmation of the payment will be forwarded to you with your booking voucher.
3.2 Bank transfer
Guests have the option of arranging a bank transfer, notify the management via email or otherwise to pay by this method.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
You should make any cancellations or amendments to your reservation using the same channel through which you booked, either online or by telephone. Refunds are not offered in case of:
•Early checkouts (due to the above or any other circumstances deemed to be beyond management’s control).
The management will strive to minimize any disruptions or discomfort to guests under these conditions. The cottages currently do not have a power back up but are working towards this.
5. Reservation Validity
Reservation confirmations are provided for all Bookings made; please keep this confirmation as it may be requested by the caretaker upon arrival. A reservation confirmation will only be produced upon the payment of a minimum 50% deposit.
The reservation confirmation includes details of dates of stay, room rates and the number of guests. In the event of discrepancies, alterations, or modifications between the guest’s confirmation and our official records, Ol talet cottages
official records shall prevail. Tampering with reservation information is strictly prohibited.
6. Guest Policy
Only the maximum number of guests listed for each accommodation will be allowed to stay, any extra occupants (infants, children) must be pre-arranged. Ol talet cottages management do not allow any day guests, only those paying to use the facility. Management reserves the right to turn back and/or evict any unwanted persons from the facility. Breaching the guest policy may result in your booking being cancelled or terminated early.
7. Missing items & damages
Although Ol Talet management takes every possible step to ensure the safety and security of all guest’s possessions, final responsibility for these items lies with the guest. Please ensure all your possessions are accounted for during check out. No items of any kind are to be carried away from the cottages as this is strictly
forbidden and will be considered as theft. (Missing items stored 3 months before disposal).
8. Special offers
You should verify that you qualify for the special offer rate that you have reserved. Ol talet cottages are not obligated to honour this rate if you do not qualify or do not have proof of qualification.
The following offer conditions apply.
– 15% off weekday offer only applies between Mondays and Thursdays.
9. Check in and check out
In order to avoid complications with incoming guests, kindly strictly adhere to the following check in and check out times below. Late checkout is to be pre-arranged with management.
• Check in: 11:00AM
• Check out: 10:00AM (Late checkout 2:00PM)
If you plan to travel with your pet, we recommend that you confirm directly with the management that we will accept the pet(s). Management accepts no responsibility for the pet at any time. The guest rules and regulations to be
found in the accommodation specifies our pet policy in detail however please note the following:
• Only 2 small dogs are allowed. They must be house trained and not at all aggressive.
• Please bring a dog basket or alternative item for your dog to sleep in.
• You will be liable for any damage caused by your dog(s). You must collect
and dispose of any mess left by your pet in a disposable plastic bag.
11: THE SWIMMING POOL
The swimming pool is a common facility shared between all the cottages and thus, guests are required to respect all other users by:
• Keeping noise to a minimum
• Desisting from unruly behavior of any kind
• Sharing the pool (particularly the Jacuzzi)
The swimming pool area has NO lifeguard and thus swimming or any other activities, are undertaken entirely at the guest’s risk. Children at no time should use the pool area without an adult’s supervision. Please note in order
for guests to fully appreciate our stunning views, the raised decks are unrallied. Therefore there is risk of serious injury or worse.
